Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perfectly located for Teeside airport and working in Darlington, with a great price including breakfast. It's a no brainer if you're okay with the basics, although it can get a bit noisy at times. Finding staff for check-out can be a little confusing, but overall, a convenient stay before flying out.
After a long drive from Kent, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and comfortable rooms at the hotel, though they were a bit spartan. The service was great overall, especially with Joe who helped me sort out my Wi-Fi issues. The location, while in a light industrial estate, was peaceful overnight and convenient for the Teesside airport and working in Darlington. The dining experience offered a basic continental breakfast, with some additional cooked options for a charge. The facilities were satisfactory for a weekend stay.
The hotel's rooms were big and clean, equipped with everything I needed, including a heated towel rail in the bathroom, a real bonus. However, the initial state of the rooms was disappointing, with filthy sticky table tops and damp rooms that required personal cleaning. The service was fantastic with the staff being incredibly helpful and friendly, although there was a hiccup with a squeaky bed that was promptly addressed. Despite being located close to the airport, the noise level could be bothersome on certain nights. The dining options were satisfactory, with a basic but well-presented selection. The facilities were decent, making up for some of the downsides.
The hotel provided spacious rooms with a good size bathroom and plenty of hot water, but some areas were dated, like the small television. The service was top-notch, with helpful and honest staff ensuring a good night's sleep. The location, although not scenic, was suitable for a business stay. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise, but the odd location near the Teeside runway was a bit of a letdown.
The hotel offers value for money, with a convenient location close to Teesside Airport and ideal for business stays. The rooms, however, have a damp and musty smell, which is a downside. The service is exceptional, with very polite and helpful staff.
